The Education University of Hong Kong (EdUHK) is a publicly funded tertiary institution dedicated to the advancement of learning and teaching, through a diverse offering of academic and research programmes on teacher education and complementary social sciences and humanities disciplines. Originally established in 1994 as the Hong Kong Institute of Education, the institution’s primary focus was the training of teachers for the region. In 2016, it was granted university status and renamed The Education University of Hong Kong, marking an expansion of its academic programmes and research activities.

It actively engages with EdUHK staff, students, alumni, and wider stakeholders, delivering carefully designed, SDG-aligned projects that aim to create a lasting and meaningful impact on society.
