Thank you for your interest in joining the International Sustainable Campus Network (ISCN).
Membership is open to public, national and private (not-for-profit) accredited higher education institutions that grant bachelor’s degrees and up.
Requirements
Members are required to:
- Demonstrate a commitment to and show evidence of whole-institution sustainability in governance, teaching/learning, research, student experience, campus operations, reporting and communications, and community outreach and engagement.
- Sign the ISCN Sustainable Campus Charter 2018. The Charter must be signed by the university President, Vice-Chancellor, Rector or similar position of the institution. Signatories to the Charter commit to follow and support five calls to action.
- Support the mission and ongoing activities of ISCN by paying annual membership fees.
- Large university (>10,000 undergraduate plus graduate students): €2,500
- Mid-sized university (5,000-10,000 undergraduate plus graduate students): €1,875
- Small university (<5,000 undergraduate plus graduate students): €1,250.
To make it accessible for institutions from around the world to formally participate in our global network, the ISCN has created a tiered structure for annual membership dues based on total student enrollment and status of the institution’s country in the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) and Organization of The Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC). Institutions based in countries that are neither OECD or OPEC countries will receive a 50% reduction in annual fees.
